Today I’d like to clear up some confusion. I’ve had a couple of comments passed on to me along the lines of “I like your blog but I’m only 42, (or I’m 64, or 58), so I haven’t commented”. Please, if you’re engaged with the content, no matter what your age, please feel free to join in.

I think the confusion has arisen because I’ve talked about creating a book of 50 portraits of people aged 50. For that project, I am being very age-specific. But the blog is for anyone who has a positive view on life (or would like to have!) and, particularly, a positive view on ageing.

So, as I say elsewhere on these pages:

“Whether you’re nearing 50 and dreading it or over 50 and loving it, share your thoughts with the project50 community and connect and celebrate with others like you.”

I hope that this will encourage those of you who felt discriminated against to join the party!

Right, now that’s cleared up… It’s a short post today, folks. Just sit back and enjoy a classic offering from Victoria Wood, describing the joys of sex in long relationships…
