Tracks of my years – 1985

Daughter no.2 sent me this recently to cheer me up. If tyou need cheering, I hope it does the same for you! x

  1. Vevo has blocked the video in this country but who cares. I just whipped out one of the cassette tapes I brought in from storage today that says Dire Straights on it, stuck it in my 30 year old car radio and it clicked and clacked and then played “Walk of Life”. Screw those censors.
If my memory serves me right I copied this tape from a long play record over 30 years ago. I think I even still have the record.
    Who’s a pack rat?
Now since I have it playing and it makes me feel so good I think I’ll refill my wine glass (ChiantI) and enjoy.

  2. You are a trouper, OF. I can’t think why there would be censorship applied to this track. Baffled.

  3. This song never fails to cheer me up and force me to play air piano. Love it. ❤ Glad it cheered you up xdaughter no.2x
