Merry Christmas!

Yesterday, my internet provider decided in their wisdom to upgrade my internet service.  The snow meant I couldn’t get to a wifi hotspot: cue complete loss of service and broken blog record!

Tomorrow I will start gathering my brood from across the UK. The youngest three will (snow willing!) converge on London before boarding the train home. Their rooms are ready, the cake is baked, the tree is blinking a welcome in the living room window. On Boxing Day we’ll all travel North to see Son no.1. My family, all under one roof – my idea of heaven on earth!

I have decided to take a complete break over the Christmas period. I hope that you will all have the kind of Christmas you yearn for. Thank you for supporting project50 this year – there would be no point in it without you. I hope that you will rejoin me on January 1st. In the meantime:
