Tracks of my years – MAD WORLD

Listening to this makes me feel like a soppy teen again. Must be the raging hormones! I’ll leave you with it while I go and whinge to my journal… no, wait – isn’t that what I’m doing here? Sigh.

  1. Those middle years are hard. When you get to my age and your teeth come out in your hamburger and it does not even slow you down it will be because you have been toughened up by your experiences. I won’t be smiling much this weekend.

  2. Oh, OF – you’ve cheered me up this morning! I’m sorry to laugh at others’ misfortune, but I WILL be smiling this weekend thanks to you! Time for me to man up 😉

Is that punishment, do you think, for straying from your normal super-healthy diet?

  3. I find it fascinating how different versions of the same song can illicit such different emotional responses. The Tears for Fears version wasn’t remotely melancholy. I love the video that goes with this, so simple yet so anarchically (is that how you spell it?) beautiful.

Have a good weekend old thing. x
