…is that a word? I’ve been scheduling the last few posts of project50 in it’s current format and I have to confess to feeling rather sad. I’m not going to go away completely, but nonetheless, it’s the end of something that has turned out to be significant to me. I fear I am going to miss you.

I’ve been cleaning a lot too. So much so that daughter no.1 phoned her dad the other day. Is Mum all right? she said, allegedly. She’s fine – why? Husband of my Heart enquired, oblivious. Well, every time I speak to her lately she’s cleaning the house…

I suppose I want to step into the next part of my life with everything in order. Does it sound as if I’ve lost my mind? I do wonder whether Sunday is going to be an incredible anti-climax. Anyone would think I was getting married, or emigrating. I suppose I am, in a way – emigrating to the other side of 50 😉 I need to get a wriggle on and get my new projects underway or I’m going to be bereft. Bereft AND 50. Now there’s a scary thought…

  1. Isn’t scarification putting holes in your lawn? Now there’s a metaphor…
