The Saturday Interview 27 – Jacky

With her 50th birthday just days away, Jacky has a conviction that now is her time. Having raised two boys and working full time since leaving school at 17, she’s looking to find ways to spend less time on the daily grind and more on the things she loves, such as making small figures from polymer clay.

“It really makes me happy,” she tells me, “and I could sit at my table making for hours without noticing the time go by.”

Jacky has started up a small business called Ma’Jac’al – this link takes you through to her Facebook page.

She’s also a student medium and is beginning to develop that area of her life.

“Before, life has always got in the way of me taking mediumship further. Now seems to be the right time for me to move forward.”

At 17 Jacky was involved in a serious motorcycle accident that left her knee permanently disabled and she is soon to undergo further operations to keep her mobile. Yet physical restrictions clearly haven’t dampened her inquisitive spirit and she retains the impish humour and zest for life of someone much younger.

Her forays into the word of Spirits, Angels and Fairies clearly bring her a great deal of joy and Jacky is facing her fifties with an aura of calm expectation.

Good luck with all your endeavours, Jacky, and thank you for taking part in the project!

There’ll be more photos of Jacky on the Celebrate Life! blog tomorrow!
